A registered medical-travel facilitator

CrossCareIndia is a registered medical tourism facilitator headquartered in New Delhi, India, operating through CrossCareIndia Health Pvt Ltd (New Delhi, India). We are not a hospital, and we do not employ the doctors who treat you — we are the team that gets you safely to the right one and stays with you the entire way. Patients across East and Central Africa are additionally supported by our regional entity, CrossCareGlobal Africa Ltd, based in Kigali, Rwanda.

🤝

Independent of every hospital we recommend

We are not owned by, and do not exclusively represent, any single hospital. Every hospital in our network is selected and regularly rechecked against public accreditation registries (JCI/NABH) and outcome data, and removed if it ever falls short.

How we calculate the numbers on this site

Every figure we publish is checkable and reviewed on a regular cycle — here's exactly how each one is put together.

📊 "60–80% cost savings"

For each procedure, we compare our network hospitals' current published package price against the average published private-pay list price for the same procedure at accredited hospitals in the United States and United Kingdom. This comparison is refreshed quarterly by our internal pricing team using the latest package prices on file with each network hospital. The 60–80% range reflects the typical spread we see across our top-requested procedures — it is a range, not a guarantee: actual savings vary by procedure, hospital, and individual case complexity, and your written quote after case review is always the number that matters.

🏥 "50 hospitals in our network"

Every hospital listed on our Hospitals page is one we can facilitate international patient access to, and each one's JCI and/or NABH accreditation status is checkable on the public accreditation registries — we link directly to them from each hospital's profile so you never have to take our word for it. We recheck this list quarterly and remove any hospital whose accreditation status changes.

💰 Treatment cost estimates

Starting costs shown on our Treatments and Cost Estimator pages reflect the typical package price quoted by our network hospitals for an uncomplicated case, refreshed each quarter as hospitals update their pricing with us. These are starting estimates, not final bills — your written, itemised quote after case review is the binding figure, confirmed before you commit to anything or pay anyone.

👨‍⚕️ Specialist network profiles

Profiles on our Doctors page represent the caliber and type of specialists accessible through our network, based on aggregate experience and specialization data. They are illustrative, not a confirmed hospital roster or booking — your specific treating doctor and hospital are confirmed, with full verifiable credentials, only after your case is reviewed and matched.

Have a question about a specific number on this site? Ask your Dedicated Assistant or contact our team directly — we're glad to walk through exactly where any figure comes from.

💳 How payment works

You never wire money to CrossCareIndia for treatment

CrossCareIndia is a platform that connects hospitals with international patients. We help facilitate the transaction where required, but you always pay the hospital directly — by card, bank transfer, or the hospital's own payment portal, on admission — never to CrossCareIndia. Hospitals pay us a small, fixed platform fee for that facilitation, which is why our concierge service is free to you.

For many of our patients, the hardest part of paying isn't the amount — it's moving money internationally at all, especially from countries with foreign exchange restrictions or capital controls. We plan for this from the start: your Dedicated Assistant confirms the hospital's accepted payment methods and transfer details (including SWIFT information) in writing before you travel, and coordinates directly with the hospital's international patient desk if a specific transfer route needs to be arranged. The goal is simple — a currency or bank delay should never turn into a visa or travel delay.

If you're ever asked to send treatment money to a personal account or to CrossCareIndia directly, that is not us — contact us immediately.

If your visa is denied or your procedure is cancelled by the hospital before treatment, any deposit paid to the hospital is refunded according to that hospital's stated policy, which we confirm with you in writing before you pay anything.

What happens if something goes wrong

The questions every serious patient asks but few medical-tourism sites answer.

The treating hospital and physician carry clinical responsibility and malpractice coverage, as is standard for any hospital admission anywhere in the world. CrossCareIndia's role is patient advocacy: if a complication arises, your Dedicated Assistant coordinates directly with the hospital's clinical and patient-relations teams on your behalf and keeps your family informed in your language, in real time.
We confirm each network hospital's deposit-refund policy with you in writing before you pay anything, specifically covering visa denial. In practice, most of our network hospitals refund deposits in full in this case, minus any bank transfer fees already incurred.
Yes — this is common for patients from countries with capital controls or limited access to international transfer rails, so we plan for it from the start rather than after you're stuck. Your Dedicated Assistant confirms the hospital's accepted payment methods and transfer details in writing as soon as your treatment plan is confirmed, and coordinates with the hospital's international patient desk directly if a specific transfer route needs to be arranged. Starting this early means currency clearance doesn't hold up your travel or admission date.
Your Dedicated Assistant's direct phone number is also a 24/7 line. For any clinical concern, you also have the treating hospital's own International Patient Desk number, given to you on admission. Both numbers stay active for at least 90 days after discharge.
Yes, always. You can request a second specialist's review of your case at no extra cost before agreeing to any treatment plan, and you are never charged for a consultation you decide not to proceed with.
Yes — tell your Dedicated Assistant when you first reach out. Our network hospitals routinely accommodate halal meal requests, provide on-site or nearby prayer space, and can arrange a same-gender physician for examinations where medically appropriate and available. We confirm these arrangements in writing before you travel.
